Party Poker, 888poker Offering $10k in Battle of Malta Qualifiers

The Battle of Malta, which is scheduled to take place this fall, Sept. 26-29, 2013, promises a VIP experience for a lower €550 buy-in.

There will still be some big payouts, however, as the event will offer a €200,000 GTD prizepool.

Last year the event drew 349 players including pros Dan Cates, Johannes Strassmann, Gaëlle Baumann and host Kara Scott.

Eventually it was retired Italian doctor Nicodemo Piccola who walked away with €35,000 for winning the tournament.

This year Kara Scott will return as host and the guarantee has been bumped up €50,000.

LotosPoker, Party Poker and 888poker are all offering qualifying options this month that are either cheap or free.
