A 28-year-old from Piea, a small town near Turin, Rosini answered a skill testing question and was selected in a random draw to receive the $2,300 BOM package.
Rosini not only gets a buy-in to the €200,000 guaranteed Battle of Malta, he'll also stay four nights at the 5-star Corinthia Hotel, enjoy daily breakfast and buffet lunch, and get access to special VIP parties and side events.
“Winning PokerListings’ Competition of the Month gives me the great chance to finally sit down and play against some of the best players around,” Rosini told PokerListings.com.
“I hope everything will work out in the best way there in Malta.”
Rosini started playing poker in 2011 after watching it on TV, and only began playing online recently where he focuses on MTT tournaments. He's already moved from Texas Hold'em games to other games like Omaha and Razz and had some quick success.
“Now my goal is to start getting some good result in live poker as well,” he explained.
PokerListings.com's new Competition of the Month could see you and a friend heading to the Tottenham vs. Chelsea match Saturday, September 28.
