Ho has been playing poker professionally since 2002 and has earned more than $1.5 million playing live tournaments.
She's appeared on the television show The Amazing Race and is a commentator on the Heartland Poker Tour's television broadcast.
Ho is also passionate about growing the game of poker and thinks the Battle of Malta's low buy-in, socially-oriented approach is perfect for getting new people involved in poker.
“I absolutely love this concept and am so glad to be a part of this innovative and inclusive idea,” said Ho.
“The reason why poker is so popular in the first place is because it's so accessible and things like media coverage, parties and an exotic location should be the kind of poker experience available to all poker players and lovers of the game, and not just reserved for the higher stakes.
“This is a great way to get people excited because this is a special experience anyone and everyone can share together.”
For the last two years ESPN presenter and poker player Kara Scott hosted the Battle of Malta but this year's BOM dates conflict with the WSOP Main Event final table, an event that Scott covers for ESPN's television broadcast.
