Last year the Battle of Malta drew 888 players to create a prizepool of €430,680 but this year it’s going to be even bigger with a €500,000-GTD prizepool.

Maria Ho will be taking the mic this year as host and noted poker pros Andreas Hoivold, Luca Pagano and Paul Jackson have already confirmed their intentions to play the Main Event and the new High Roller event.

As usual there will be much more than just the tournament taking place in Malta with a couple of exclusive VIP parties, side events and the Spirit of Poker Awards.

The 2014 Battle of Malta is set to take place Nov. 6-10 and early bird specials are still available if you want to buy-in directly and get a deal towards what could be the biggest poker tournament ever held in Malta.
